Tim Duffy joined Spike TV in 2004 as Director, Original Programming. In 2010, he was promoted to his current position of Senior Vice President, Original Series. Over the past several years, Duffy has spearheaded the development and/or production on some of Spike's most successful programs including Auction Hunters, Bar Rescue, DEA, 1000 Ways To Die and World's Worst Tenants.
In 2009, Duffy was selected by TV Week magazine for their "Hot List"- a list of 10 of the most promising under 35 players in the television industry and in 2010, he was selected by Multichannel News for their "Top 40 Under 40" list.  Before his work in development, Duffy worked as a production manager at Dick Clark Productions. He also worked on Steven Spielberg's Millennium Project, a documentary on the history of democracy in the United States.
