Weinstock joined Discovery Channel in July, 2012.  Previously he was Vice President of Production for Gurney Productions and earned Co-Executive Producer credit for Auction Hunters, American Digger, Monster Man, Haunted Collector, Hollywood Treasure, Duck Dynasty, American Guns, and several others.  Prior to Gurney Productions, Weinstock was Senior Director, Original Series for Spike TV.  He was a part of the Spike development team for 5 years and worked on high-profile projects such as Auction Hunters, Jesse James is a Dead Man, Deadliest Warrior, Pros vs. Joes, DEA and 1000 Ways to Die.  Weinstock started his entertainment career at MTV Networks in 2005 in the business and legal affairs department at Comedy Central in Los Angeles.  He brought with him an extensive legal background from his home state of Oklahoma.  Weinstock earned his juris doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, Norman, Oklahoma and worked as a trial attorney in Tulsa.
