Jill Schwartz is Senior Vice President, Development/Programming, at Fox Television Studios where she oversees all of the studio’s unscripted development and programming, both domestically and for international broadcasters. Currently, FtvS is producing The Great Escape, airing on TNT, from Executive Producers Brian Grazer and Ron Howard at Imagine Entertainment, and eight-time, Emmy award-winning producers Bertram Van Munster and Elise Doganieri. For Discovery, the studio is in development on an untitled “robot” series in conjunction with James Cameron’s Cameron-Pace, and Mark Burnett Productions, with additional series in development across a broad spectrum of cable networks. Internationally, Schwartz oversees production of Fox TV Studios’ hit series Survival Handbook with Laura Posada, now in its second season on Fox International Channels (FIC), with additional markets pending, including the soon-to-launch MundoFOX Spanish-language network in the US. Other FtvS series include The Girls Next Door, Kendra, and Holly’s World for E!; and the late-night In the Flow with Affion Crockett (from Executive Producer Jamie Foxx), The Wanda Sykes Show, and Talkshow with Spike Feresten, for FOX. Prior to joining Fox TV Studios, Schwartz spent 10 years at FremantleMedia North America, where she oversaw production on the first four seasons of American Idol, as well as the hit game shows Family Feud, Match Game, and To Tell the Truth. She also served as the international liaison for Fremantle Worldwide, overseeing formats including The Apprentice, America’s Got Talent, American Inventor and Thank God You’re Here.
