As Vice President of Digital Distribution for Cinedigm Entertainment Group, Erick directs the company’s client management, content strategy, development and operations across digital platforms, including subscription and ad-supported video-on-demand, electronic sell-through, cable TV and IPTV. Erick has been responsible for growing the company into one of the largest aggregators of digital video content worldwide. His team oversees the distribution of over 11,000 films and programs for entertainment partners ranging from global television distributors and home entertainment companies to independent film producers and filmmakers. Most recently, Erick worked with the Sundance Institute to create a new distribution platform to bring the festival’s 4,000 film alumni to digital audiences worldwide. Previously, Erick spearheaded digital business development efforts for New Video, leading to that company’s selection as the first iTunes video aggregation partner. Prior to that, Erick managed releases for the A&E Home Entertainment line and the Docurama Films label, including over 20 Academy Award®-winning and nominated films. Widely recognized in his field, Erick was named a 2011 Digital Driver by Home Media Magazine. He is a frequent moderator and speaker at industry events including the Sundance Film Festival, SxSW, AFM, and Independent Film Week, among others. He is also on the board of Digital Hollywood and a member of the International Academy of Web Television.
